History:

A 52-year-old male with a history of    presents to the ED for.  He denies syncope, palpitations, chest pain, SOB, fever, cough or other complaints.

Exam:

Vital signs are normal except for a pulse of .   Exam is otherwise normal.

Initial differential diagnosis:

  • Tachydysrhythmia
  • Electrolyte abnormality
  • Pulmonary Embolism
  • Acute Coronary Syndrome
